World Philosophy Day Event

Within the scope of World Philosophy Day, an event was organized in cooperation with our university's Philosophy Department and Philosophy Club, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, Istanbul Medeniyet University, and Teoman Duralı Philosophy Society. This event was held on Zoom and broadcast live on YouTube under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Sedat Yazıcı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yaylagül Ceran Karataş, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolgahan Toy and Prof. Dr. Hakan Poyraz made speeches about philosophy's past, present, and future and shared their views on the importance of World Philosophy Day.

  • A department meeting was held before the Spring semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
