The Graduation Ceremony of our university was held with the participation of the graduates from the 2024-2025 academic year.

Thousands of undergraduate and associate degree students at Bartın University (BARU) were proud to graduate with an enthusiastic ceremony.

Bartın University (BARU) 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with a magnificent organization. Nearly 3,500 BARU students who completed their undergraduate and associate degree education from 9 faculties and 3 vocational schools were sent off to their professional lives as graduates.

Thousands of people shared the excitement of graduation among BARU students.

More than 11 thousand people from all over Turkey attended the ceremony held in the graduation event area of Kutlubey Campus. BARU students enjoyed the joy of graduation by participating with their families and friends on this day when their success was crowned.
The opening speech of the ceremony, which started with the traditional cortege march and witnessed colorful images, was made by BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Gümüş.

“Our university continues to walk towards a strong future with its graduates.”

Stating that they are proud of the graduation of BARU students who have completed a long and challenging education process, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gümüş said, "Today, while celebrating the success of our students, the most valuable component of our family, we also renew our hope for the future. As Bartın University, we continue to add value to the future with our new graduates while laying the foundations of a strong future with our achievements and the students we have trained. I am proud of all our graduating students; I sincerely believe they will benefit our country with their efforts and hard work."

The Department of Philosophy gave its 7th graduates.

In the 2024-2025 graduation period, plaques and certificates of achievement were presented by the department's faculty members to our students who graduated from our department with degrees. After the event, our students and faculty members took photos and immortalized their graduation memories.
After presenting certificates of achievement and awards, thousands of BARU students took the graduation oath in unison. After the ceremony, BARU's young graduates threw their caps with the countdown at the traditional cap-throwing ceremony and enjoyed graduation.

  • Dr. Svitlana Nesterova Coşkun visited Lviv's Ivan Franko National University as part of the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program.

  • Assist. Prof. Tayebeh Beheshti presented at the thirteenth Session of Philosophy Talks.

  • Nokwanda Mbhele presented at the Twelfth Session of Philosophy Talks.
