The Fourth Event of the Philosophical Problems Workshop was Held

The Philosophical Problems Workshop, organized by Prof. Dr. Aslı Yazıcı and the students of the Department of Philosophy and Psychology at the Faculty of Letters, was held on Friday, January 05, 2024, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Sedat Yazıcı and our Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet ALTAY. During the workshop, students presented their research on various philosophical problems through posters they had prepared. These presentations attracted interest from attendees, including fellow students and academics. The workshop fostered an interdisciplinary environment with visitors from other departments, encouraging rich discussions on contemporary philosophical, ethical, and political issues. The students highlighted essential topics such as fundamental human rights, equality, justice, gender equality, peace, and a sustainable world through their posters. They examined historical responses to these issues from the history of philosophy, providing systematic interpretations and analyses. The engagement at the workshop led to thoughtful conversations about the challenges of our time.
