Philosophy Talks Event - Why is Modal Logic Important?

The tenth session of the Philosophy Talks event, organized by the Philosophy Department at Bartın University, featured a presentation by Assist. Prof. Dr. Samet Büyükada titled "Why is Modal Logic Important?". In his talk, Dr. Büyükada emphasized the significance of modal logic and its applications in various fields, including artificial intelligence, programming, epistemology, and ontology. He argued for the increased incorporation of modal logic in philosophy education. The presentation garnered considerable interest from faculty members and students alike. Following the talk, a Q&A session was held, during which the audience had the opportunity to ask questions.
