Our university held the graduation ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year graduates.
Bartın University (BARU) graduated its associate and undergraduate students with a magnificent ceremony with the participation of thousands of people in the 16th year of its establishment.
Students who completed their undergraduate and associate degree education at the Bartın University (BARU) 2023-2024 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony experienced the pride of graduating. Nearly 4 thousand BARU students graduated from 9 faculties and 3 vocational schools. More than 10 thousand people from all over Turkey attended the Kutlubey Campus Graduation Event Area ceremony. BARU students experienced the joy of graduation to the fullest by attending the day when their success was crowned with their families, friends, relatives, and teachers. The opening speeches of the ceremony, which started with the traditional procession walk and featured colorful scenes, were made by Bartın Governor Dr. Nurtaç Arslan and BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun.
Plaques and certificates of achievement were presented to students in the top 3 with their grade point averages from 9 faculties and 3 vocational schools. In the ceremony, where the top students of the undergraduate and associate degrees were nailed to the age log, the university's top student, Meltem Saatçı, gave a graduation speech on behalf of her fellow students.
The Department of Philosophy gave its 6th graduates.
In the 2023-2024 graduation period, Emre Doğan was the top student in our department, Adem Çelik was the second, and Züleyha Özge Ataş was the third. Plaques and certificates of achievement were presented to our students who graduated with honors from our department by the department's faculty members. After the event, our students took photos with our faculty members and immortalized their graduation memories.
After presenting certificates of achievement and awards, thousands of BARÜ students took the graduation oath in unison. After the ceremony, young BARÜ graduates threw their caps together with the countdown in the traditional cap-throwing ceremony and enjoyed graduating.
