World Philosophy Day Event Held
The “World Philosophy Day” event organized by our university’s Department of Philosophy and the Philosophy Club was held with the participation of Dr. Serdal Tümkaya from Ibn Haldun University.
With strong attendance from our students and faculty members, Dr. Tümkaya delivered a presentation titled “What Is Eliminative Materialism Really About?”, shedding light on contemporary debates in philosophy. The talk, which drew significant interest, was followed by a lively Q&A session, where participants engaged in a rich discussion on the scope, future, and philosophical background of eliminative materialism.
Held on the occasion of World Philosophy Day, this event provided a fruitful platform for rethinking both the nature and future of philosophy.
