Exploring the Dynamics of Freedom and Identity in Today’s World International Interdisciplinary Panel

The Department of Philosophy at Bartın University, in collaboration with Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, will host a panel titled “Exploring the Dynamics of Freedom and Identity in Today’s World” on Tuesday, October 28.

The event will feature speakers from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Natalia Hrebin, Identity in Conflict: How Shame and Guilt Determine the Behavioral Strategies of a Modern Personality, Nadiya Levus, The Transformation of Ethnic Identity Today, Yulia Slipetska, The Transformation of Ukraine’s Political Institutions in Wartime, Zlatyslav Dubnyak, Freedom and Education: Threats During Occupation.

From Bartın University, Hicran Karataş, Between Roots and Routes: Negotiating Hybrid Identities in Diaspora, and Lale Özdemir Şahin, The Impact of War on the Collective Memory: Silencing of Archival Identity will present their talks.

The panel will take place in Room 130, Faculty of Letters Administrative Building, Bartın University. All interested participants are cordially invited to attend.
